Perinet, is located in the Priorat DOQ, 90 minutes southwest of Barcelona in Catalonia, Spain. Priorat is one of only two wine regions to receive the prestigious DOCa (Denominación de Origen Calificada), the highest government classification for wine regions in Spain. 

Perinet opened in 2004 to offer authentic, ultra-premium estate wines and unique experiences. Spread over 133 acres, the state-of-the art winery is surrounded by three estate vineyards planted to local varietals Carinyena and Garnatxa along with Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot.

Merit is our introduction to the Priorat, a handcrafted blend that captures the essence of the Priorat region. Produced entirely in stainless steel tanks, Merit is a captivating blend of traditional varieties Carinyena and Garnatxa combined with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah.  The blend of Merit changes slightly vintage to vintage to bring you a true expression of llicorella influenced terroir from our estate vineyards.
